Alexandrina Hristov' musical style too hard to define, but falls between acoustic pop, modern rock, alternative, jazz and soul, with innovations in the composition and lyrics. Alexandrina often appears on stage with a band instrument, but she supports his voice-piano recital in the formula. Regarding his musical preferences, Tori Amos has prevailed, which shares features such as sensitivity and versatility of voice, to play the piano virtuosity and lyrical sensitivity. Her first album is called "Om de Lut" (Man of Clay), and was released in Romania on April 9, 2009, representing a collection of songs old and new.

Alexandrina (real name: Alexandrina Hristov), is a singer/songwriter and painter from the Republic of Moldova. Her first single, “Fata merge pe jos,” took the Romanian charts by storm in 2006. With her original style and great vocals, Alexandrina has gathered a strong fan base, even before the release of her first album. Her musical activity includes shows in small clubs in Bucharest, as well as prime-time TV appearances. Alexandrina writes and performs in Romanian, Russian and French. Her first album is "Om de lut" (2009).

True innovators of live electronic music have landed. Moonraker branches out from the current state of music, working with the remnants of d'n'b and house. The energy of dance music is filtered through the live band, creating the sexiest sound to surface in years. The power of the human voice merges with epic soundscapes and ever-evolving breakbeats to continue the ancient story forever told.

The recent upsurge of the live electronic scene has gained a rapidly growing audience, and Moonraker has been steadily moving to the crest of this wave of new music. Having been together for two years, the group has packed countless rooms in the Boston area, including the Middle East, House of Blues, Bill's Bar, the Paradise and the Somerville Theater. Moonraker is continually broadening its fan base with regular performances in Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, Toronto and New York City (Wetlands, Mercury Lounge, Knitting Factory). Moonraker were named 'Best New Band in Boston' by WBOS 92.9, and are featured regularly on local radio (WBCN, WERS). Moonraker has shared the stage with notable acts including DJ Spooky, Ice-T, Amon Tobin, Joan Osbourne and the Disco Biscuits.

Attica Blues est l'un des plus vieux groupes signé par l'écurie Mo'Wax. Le trio est composé de deux producteurs passionnés de hip-hop (D'Afro et Tony Nwachukwu) ainsi que de la chanteuse Roba El-Essawy. Son premier maxi, Vibes, Scribes & Dusty 45's E.P., paraît en 1994. Incroyable bouillon msucial basé sur des rythmiques jazz et hip-hop, ce premier E.P. s'inscrit définitivement dans un mouvement alors en plein essor: le trip-hop.

Attica Blues continue son exploration sonore avec le maxi suivant, Blueprint. Il sera suivi de deux autres singles, remixés par Deflon Sallarhr, Organized Confusion, As One, et le groupe lui même. Ces parutions successives marquèrent l'arrivée imminente de ce premier album éponyme en 1997 (MW080).

Comme pour de nombreux artistes, la musique d'Attica Blues est indissociable de l'identité du groupe. Telle une empreinte ("Blueprint" ?), Attica Blues porte une trace indélébile de son appartenance au label Mo'Wax. Une écriture stylifiée (par Holmes SNR & Holmes) signe l'élégance et la pureté du groupe. Toujours teintée de jazz, de blues, de hip-hop, la musique d'Attica Blues est tantôt envoûtante, grâce à la voix de Roba (Blueprint, Tender, Enter), tantôt dansante grâce aux productions des deux DJ's (808 song, 3-ree, Medieval).

L'image de marque du groupe colle instinctivement au classieux label anglais, dont il pourrait être la figure de proue, l'égérie, l'ambassadeur. si toutefois l'auditeur prêtait plus attention aux mélodies d'Attica Blues.

Let's Smooth again ! Après plusieurs mois de suspense et d'attente avec des fans hypnotisés par une vidéo teasing du titre très prometteur " Friendly Yours ", on avait compris que les 3 Nantais avaient pris une étape plus symphonique et dramatique dans leur trip musical. Ce 3ème album " The Parade " confirme l'identité du groupe tout en gravissant une nouvelle marche, celle d'une maturité de style et de ton(s).

Moins obsédé par sa ligne de basse, plus focalisé sur une âme identitaire (des samples savamment choisis) et une pop plus psyché que funk, le nouveau Smooth fait une parade multi-style et cultive un vrai goût pour la variété des genres. Plus aérien dans l'ensemble, l'album recèle pour la 1ère fois de potentiels tubes vraiment barrés, comme le magnifique " Music " avec une Amélie très Cocorosienne, probablement le meilleur titre de l'album. Plus cinématique aussi, The Parade conjugue les voix mystérieuses (qui rappellent Tara King TH et son Harold) d'Alain Chauvet (" Manson ") ou de Dominique A (" I know "), mais aussi un univers planant progressif proche du Virgin Suicide de AIR (sur le titre éponyme The Parade notamment).

Poète d'une électro funk qui s'est finalement un peu " rockisée " Smooth surprend tout en restant dans la ligne droite de ce que le groupe sait faire : une production léchée, une âme soul, une orchestration à la fois cuivrée, samplée, cordée, même parfois mélancolique sur cet album (merci le piano et les nappes wa-wa)... Que dire ? Let's Smooth again...

It was when ForTune gave some music experimentations on classical and hip-hop sounds to The Ant, and he immediately proposed him to form "something". After working together on music and lyrics during 2004, Stelx joined them as a guitarist in 2005. Not much later than that, the three of them found Eskimint, who had been working on trip-hop vocals by herself. They formed Ekos Quartet in November 2005, and recorded their first song, “Fortune’s lake”, in January 2006 and they performed live for the first time in December 06. During 2007, the band gave many live concerts and kept producing new tracks. This opportunity gave them the courage and the inspiration to start expanding their musical horizons, mixing downbeat, electronica, funk, hip-hop, jazz breaks, post rock, classical samples and ambient sounds, all based on a tripping background and mood. Their first release was the song “Free with you” in “Concealed Truth” compilation by Andrianos Papadeas (June 07). They also released 4 tracks in the multi-ep part of the compilation "City Campers" a bit later. In 2008, they have appeared as a quintet in some concerts, after the addition of George PapaG (bass), while Mandragora has been helping the band on their live sound. They also completed the recordings of 13 songs in "Silicon" studio. S-fx and Ekos have mixed their debut album, "In a dream full of charm", while Bob Katz did the mastering. Ekos Quartet had been working on this album until late 2008 (about to be released in 2009). Their aim is to achieve evolution, improvisation, experimentation and originality through their musical journey, during which they can express their emotions and talk about a world that can be more beautiful and charming, rather than controllable.
