Les beastie Boys forment un groupe de rap old school américain, originaire de New York, qui existe depuis 1979 !!  Ses principaux membres sont Mie D (Michael Diamond), MCA (Adam Yauch) et Adrock (Adam Horovitz).
Licensed to Ill, leur 3 ème album, paru en 1986, fut le premier album de rap a devenir n°1 aux Etats Unis.
